Hila Moss is a bilingual attorney who has been practicing immigration law since 2013. She currently owns Hila Moss Law Firm LLC and represents asylum seekers, unaccompanied children and survivors of crime in their applications for humanitarian-based relief with USCIS as well as representation in removal proceedings.
Prior to owning her own firm, Hila spent nearly a decade working in the legal department at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI). In that time, she served as a Staff Attorney who represented unaccompanied minors in the Nuevo Comienzo program. In 2022, she was promoted to Director of Legal Services and oversaw the legal department's two dozen offices and 80+ staff members while serving as the Project Director for USCRI’s government-funded Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA) contract which provided pro bono legal services to over 10,000 Afghan parolees nationwide.
She resides in Sanford, North Carolina with her family and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Appalachian State University and a Juris Doctorate from Campbell Law School. In her spare time she enjoys doing puzzles, spending time with her family, and camping on the lake.
